Contact Adhesive 281 is an all-round neoprenbased flowing contact adhesive for bonding absorbent surfaces as well as for gluing applications requiring immediate high strength.

Contact Adhesive 281 is particularly suited for bonding of wood, fiber and particle board, plastic laminates, felt, natural and synthetic rubber, leather, foams, concrete, glass, metals, etc. The glue can not be used for polystyrene foam (Styrofoam), instead use the water-based contact adhesive Aqua Contact 287.
The glue is water resistant and withstands temperatures from about -40 ° C to + 70 ° C, depending on the strength requirement. (Contact adhesive is a thermoplastic adhesive type, i.e. that the strength is reduced with increasing temperatures). By adding 5% Contact Cures 924 will increase heat resistance with + 150 ° C.
